The Rainbow Foundation, is a registered 501c3 non profit organization that was
established to help families cut through red tape to provide items like
prescription medicines, air conditioners, hospital bills, prosthetic devices,
travel to treatments, wheelchairs and much more. Rainbow Foundation was started
in 1984 by the late Thomas Karaban, a Wall Street Broker, and his wife, Peggy,
after a serious illness prompted Tom to reevaluate his life and his contribution
to society. Rainbow Foundation is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year and
to date, the foundation has provided “financial first aid” to over 12,000 of New
Jersey’s children.
“The Jukebox Jamboree is fun night for everyone involved and not only does
everyone get to have a good time, they get to feel good about helping needy
children at the same time”, states Kelly Karaban-Iannone, daughter of founders
Tom and Peggy Karaban. “With events like this, Rainbow is able to continue to
help the needy kids.”
