Atlantic Highlands, NJ - Mother Teresa Regional School celebrated ten years of memories on Sunday, June 5. It was a day filled with memories and laughs for alumni, faculty and parents that were a part of the local community for many years.
Highlands Borough Arts Council Announce Winners of CAPTURE Photography Contest

Highlands Borough Arts Council (HBAC) is pleased to announce the winners of the CAPTURE Photography Contest. This contest was open to both established and emerging artists, and over 50 arresting photographs ranging from the sensational to the sublime were submitted.
A formal juried process was used to identify those entries with the highest honors. The following criteria were used in the jury process: creativity, composition, expression of meaning, expression of emotion, and medium utilization. First Honors, with a cash prize of $100 went to Richard Huff for “The Conversation”, pictured above.

Owlet Rescued from Atlantic Highlands Fence

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - Atlantic Highlands Police responded to a call at 6:50 a.m. today about a screech owl caught on a picket fence on E. Highland Avenue, according to Sgt. Thomas Stone.
Police contacted Animal Control officer, Kerry Gowan, who removed the bird and transported it to Red Bank Veteranary Hospital with the assistance of her daughter, Carly Gowan.
