County Commissioners announce Vaccine Scheduling System to Launch on Monday; New Partnership with Church in Asbury Park

LINCROFT, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners held a press conference today to announce the launch of a vaccine scheduling website, a new partnership with Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park and provide COVID-19 vaccine updates at Brookdale Community College’s Robert J. Collins Arena.
“I am very happy to announce another community partnership, with Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park, to bring vaccines directly to our residents,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “On Saturday, March 13th from 2 to 4 p.m., 100 vaccines will be given out at the Church by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled with the Church.”
Monmouth County has 255 additional positive cases of COVID-19

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone and County Commissioner Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley have announced that today, March 4, there are 255 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Monmouth County. There are nine new deaths being reported today related to COVID-19 in Monmouth County.
The County Commissioners and the Monmouth County Health Department (MCHD) are strongly urging residents to do their part to slow the spread by practicing social distancing, wearing a face covering when social distancing is not possible, not gathering in large crowds, washing their hands and staying home when sick.

Guild of Creative Art Accepting Applications for 2021-2022 Scholarship Program

2021-2022 Scholarship Program
SHREWSBURY, NJ - The Guild of Creative Art and the James T. Gary Foundation will award a $1000 scholarship to a graduating Monmouth County high school senior who plans to major in the visual arts in an accredited college or art school in the Fall 2021. Full time attendance is required.
Media may be painting, sculpture or photography. The application deadline is April 15, 2021.
