ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - Atlantic Highlands has joined its neighboring shore towns in presenting vibrant murals for passers-by to enjoy. Local business owner Meredith Peltz, who has always painted her Vintage Variety storefront with bright, eye-catching designs, for years wanted to see outdoor visual art throughout the town like that seen in Highlands and in Sea Bright.

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ Producer Jude Hagin brings her film Belong to Me, Sex, Race and Murder in the South; a documentary that explores the truth about what it meant to be African-American in the Jim Crow South to Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre on Monday, October 17 at 7:30 pm. The film is free and open to the public. There will be a Q&A with Hagin immediately following the screening.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - A motor vehicle crash occurred at approximately 2:07pm Sunday involving Leonardo First Aid Squad ambulance at Thompson Avenue and Highway 36 in the Leonardo section of Middletown.
According to Aaron Ciccia, who came onto the scene after the accident, it "looks like (the ambulance) was coming down Hosford (Avenue)" near the Academy bus terminal. The ambulance ended up on the highway barrier on Rte. 36.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - The Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce 2nd Annual Fall Fest & Car Show scheduled for Saturday October 8, from 12-5 has been cancelled.
Due to unforseen issues, this family-friendly, popular local event has been cancelled.
