LITTLE SILVER, NJ - The talented majors of the Red Bank Regional (RBR) Visual and Performing Arts Academy will hold their senior photo show at the Canvas Art Studio in Rumson, NJ, from May 19 through May 22 at 12 to 5 pm. The art studio is located at 126 East River Road. The public is invited to the welcome reception on Friday, May 18 from 5:30 to 8 pm.
WPC Benefit Concert Will Feature Classical Music Through the Ages

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Westminster Presbyterian Church (WPC) will open the doors of its unique Middletown Sanctuary on Sunday afternoon, May 21st at 3 pm for a benefit performance designed to delight both music lovers and classical music buffs.
The program will showcase Erika Sayar on piano and Jeffrey Boga on violin, and feature piano and violin solos highlighting music throughout the ages, from the Baroque Era thru 20th century music including compositions of Corelli, Mozart, Dvorak, Chopin, Cowell and more.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ -The May 13th Veteran Street Sign Dedications have been cancelled due to the expected inclement weather. A new date to dedicate the quartet of commemorative street signs will be announced. More than 50 signs have been added township-wide to honor Middletown veterans killed in action from World War I to present.

HOLMDEL, NJ - Robin A. Van Decker Goodrich, made her way up to the receiving line four times during the recent Remembrance Day Ceremony held on May 7, at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation. Goodrich received multiple Distinguished Service Medals honoring four family members, posthumously, for their distinguished service in combat. They were: her husband Yeoman First Class George E. Goodrich, her father Machinist Mate Third Class Edward A. Van Decker, her uncle Seaman First Class John M. Van Decker and also for SP4 Donald L. Updike, late father of Captain Amy Updike, Robin Goodrich’s daughter and an active service member in the Army Nurse Corps. Her fourth trip to the podium elicited a standing ovation. Goodrich is also a veteran who served in the Navy for 6 years during Vietnam.
