ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – Steve Graziano was installed at commodore of the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club Sunday as the Club also observed its traditional welcoming and congratulations of the newly reorganized Mayor and Council at a reception at the Yacht Club at the Yacht Harbor.

Atlantic Highlands, January 1, 2016: Municipal Clerk, Dwayne M. Harris swore in the new Mayor of Atlantic Highlands, Rhonda C. LiGrice at the Atlantic Highlands Annual Reorganization Meeting, held in Borough Hall, 100 First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands. Roy Delosso, the re-elected Councilman was sworn in by Congressman, Frank Pallone, Jr. and Charles Lero, the newly elected Councilman was sworn in by former Mayor, Frederick J. Rast, III. A motion was made and passed to elect Roy Delosso the new Council President.
Middletown Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian/Motor Vehicle Accident in Port Monmouth

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - On January 2, 2016 at approximately 6:09 pm Middletown Police responded to a report of a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Highway 36 and Main Street in Port Monmouth, NJ. Police report that John Chambers, age 36, from East Road in Belford, NJ, was struck by a vehicle travelling West Bound on Highway 36. Chambers was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver remained on scene after the collision. The cause and circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
