MIDDLETOWN, NJ - At 7:59 AM on Saturday February 15th, 2014, the Middletown Township Fire Department was dispatched to a “report of a chimney fire with a smoke condition” at 917 Park Place in the River Plaza section of the Township. Approximately 45 firefighters from 4 companies of the Middletown Township Fire Department (River Plaza, Middletown, Lincroft and Old Village Fire Companies), under the command of Department Chief Peter Laimann, responded to the scene.
MFA Student Art Contest Winners to Display Art at County Library During April

Tinton Falls, NJ - The Monmouth Festival of the Arts (MFA) held its annual Student Art competition and Art Workshops on Sunday, February 9, at the Monmouth Reform Temple in Tinton Falls. Over thirty high school students from throughout Monmouth County competed for cash prizes displaying over 50 pieces of art.
(Pictured above, left to right) A photograph entitled Helping Hands took the first place prize and was taken by Matt Schall of Tinton Falls who attends St. Rose High School. Second prize went to Caitlin Mullally of Red Bank, who attends Ranney School, for her acrylic painted entitled Soldier. Loribeth Wodell of Point Pleasant, who also attends St. Rose School, took third place for her ink art called Deadlines.

HIGHLANDS, NJ - The Highlands Business Partnership is proud to present the 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Nearly 100 marching units including bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, and beautifully decorated floats, will line up to march in the twelfth Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. The 2014 grand marshals are Henry Moyer and Nick DiBari, owners of the Off the Hook Restaurant.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - The St. Agnes Holy Name Society’s will host the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner-Dance, Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at St. Agnes’ Charles J. Hesse III Parish Center.
Music will be provided by a premier DJ. Donation: $35.00 per person
Tables are available for groups of 8.
The menu includes: Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes, Pasta, Chicken, Salad, Irish Soda Bread, Killians Red and Coors Lite Beer, Wine, Soda (No BYOB).
