MANALAPAN – The 2019 History Book Club of the Monmouth County Headquarters Library will feature discussion of Killers of the Flower Moon at its meeting Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at the library.
The national best seller by David Grann tells the story of one of the most chilling conspiracies in United States history, and how the FBI under J Edgar Hoover worked with former Texas Ranger Tom White to delve into why the Osage Nation, listed among the richest people per capita in the world after the discovery of oil in Oklahoma during the 1920s, began to be killed in a rapidly rising death toll of members.
Book Club meetings are open to all interested persons and no reservations are necessary.
