MANALAPAN – A seminar on tea featuring its history, culture and benefits, will be presented by the Monmouth County Library on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. The special program will be offered by Family and Community Health Sciences Department Educator Sharese Porter, PhD., the senior program coordinator supervisor for Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Burlington and Monmouth Counties. The seminar will be conducted live on Zoom and will allow for a Q&A period at the end of the talk. Interested persons can register on Eventkeeper for the internet access program. Registrants will then receive information on how to access the seminar or can visit their local branch for registration and signup. In addition to the history and culture of tea, Dr. Porter will also discuss current recommendations for tea drinking.
