My industry was one of the first ones to close and probably one of the last to open. With the suggestion of social distancing to 50%, after this is over, we will not be able to stay in business.
Meaning that on any given night we will only be able to do half as much business as we did before. That means half the staff, will not be working, and for the restaurants with all the other costs that go with that, putting half the industry out of work, most restaurants will go out of business. Meaning dining out could be fast foods from take out windows with a beer at home and standing in line at Wendy's.
I have been here for 50 years and will not go down without a struggle as every other owner I know. It is time for the all politicians, especially the democrats and Pelosi to stop fighting the President to get the @#%@ out of the way and let us survive. Small businesses keep the US alive, without them our economy will Flat line.
