As schools across the state are unveiling their reopening plans for the Fall, I am convinced that 99% of the reopening plans will be in a hybrid form, offering both in-school and remote learning.
As a household with two full time working parents who cannot easily work from home, we are scrambling for child care options in the Fall.
In times of necessity comes ingenuity!
I am calling on all entrepreneurs and/or existing child care centers that have the potential to expand. Please consider a new form a child care service for children entering Kindergarten through eighth grade that offers child care with learning support on odd days. The child care would be needed during the scheduled virtual days of the child. The child care will ensure a safe and healthy environment along with ensuring the child completes their school day.
Full time working parents who cannot work from home need child care if schools will not provide 100% in school instruction.
